Texture Mat Seconds Sale
Every natural rubber texture mat we make goes through a pressing process, and every so often, that process doesn't yield perfect results. Sometimes a small bubble or blister forms in the rubber. Sometimes the cut just isn't clean.
Once a mat's been pressed, there's almost no way to recycle it. We'd rather these find a home than end up in the trash. A flawed mat still has plenty of texture left in it. Many give a crisp, deep impression across most of the surface. Some can be cut down into smaller pieces for accent texture on rims and edges. Some flaws are barely noticeable once they're actually in the clay.
So instead of tossing them, we've collected them here and priced them by condition.
How we price them
The severity ranges from barely noticeable to more significant, and it's reflected in the price. A nearly flawless mat costs more than one with a more noticeable issue. Each listing includes notes and photos of the specific flaws, so you know exactly what you're getting before you buy.
What you're getting
- The same rubber, the same pattern, the same detail you'd get from a full price mat
- A lower price for a mat that's still got real use left in it
- No surprises, every flaw is shown, not hidden
Good to know
Because each mat is sold based on its specific flaw, all seconds sales are final, no returns or exchanges.
